NRI Land Use
The Land Use section of the NRI concerns our community's land resources and their uses. Land use planning is instrumental in balancing development with the preservation of natural resources. Our town frequently faces decisions impacting land use but often lacks sufficient data to inform them effectively. Reacting to proposed development instead of proactively planning for future growth should be avoided wherever possible. The maps and data in this section represent a significant resource to land use decision makers and the community.
