Town Board

The Hurley Town Board consists of five elected members – the Supervisor and four Councilpersons, all of whom have equally weighted votes on matters that come before Board.

The Supervisor’s term is 2 years, while Councilpersons serve 4-year terms. In general, two Councilperson seats are up for election every 2 years, so the entire Town Board will not come for election at the same time.

The Hurley Town Board generally meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month, starting at 6 p.m. Unless otherwise announced, the first meeting of each month is held in the West Hurley Firehouse, 24 Wall St., and the second is in the Town Hall, 10 Wamsley Place. All meetings are open to the public.
