Town Clerk

Mission:

The Town Clerk's office records activities of the town government and is the central place in which all documents and papers vital to the lives of the townspeople are filed. The Town Clerk has custody of all the records, books and papers of the town. The Clerk also issues marriage, birth and death certificates; Transfer Station permits and punch cards; disability parking permits; and dog and peddler licenses.

The Clerk also oversees town park rentals and Freedom of Information Law requests. 

The Town Clerk also is the Town Tax Collector. Billings and payment schedules are mailed to each taxpayer annually.
